The 2019 Facebook July Moments video is out, coming at a time when the social network faces a marked decline in user trust and government scrutiny…
Facebook has released its July Moments video collage on Android, iOS, and desktop. It’s appearing in the Memories section, like previous collection releases.
2019 Facebook July Moments Video Rolls Out to Android, iOS, and Desktop
The 2019 Facebook July Moments video comes after a slew of negative news cycles for the social corporation. Facebook just reached a $100 million settlement with the SEC, after it was hit with a $5 billion fine from the FTC. The company also reportedly faces even more investigations over its acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp.
The Facebook Memories collections have garnered mixed reactions from users. Some have proven very popular, but others have not performrf as well. For example, its seasonal collections generate more user interaction than its monthly collections.
Facebook releases these collages to prod users into sharing more. The site is experiencing what it internally calls “context collapse,” or a decrease in “original content broadcasting.”
