Disney Plus went live this morning and almost immediately, customers began experiencing technical issues with the new streaming service…
After months of waiting, eager streamers are ready for the Disney+ experience. Trouble is, a number of them are unable to connect to the service. After going live in the wee hours of the morning, reports across social media indicate a sizable portion of Disney+ customers are unable to connect.
Disney Plus Streaming Connectivity Issues causes ‘Unable to Connect’ Error Message on Launch Day
The issue doesn’t seem to be widespread, however, there are no shortage of complaints across social media about various technical problems.
After a successful test run in the Netherlands, the new Disney+ streaming service debuted early this morning in the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. Apparently, most of the complaints are coming from the east coast, which makes sense, since it’s one to three hours ahead of other time zones in North America.
Ironically, the error message depicts Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Disney says it has dedicated teams to monitor the service and address customer issues on a 24/7 basis. So, most connectivity problems should be minor and fixed relatively quickly.
