Facebook Messenger Instant Games now live all over the world, with new features, like rich game play, along with new levels and rewards for more fun…
The world’s largest social network just announced Facebook Messenger Instant Games, complete with new features, which rolls out over the coming weeks, for Android and iOS devices.
Facebook Messenger Instant Games Rolls Out Worldwide with New Features
Some of the highlighted games include EverWing, 8 Ball Pool, and Words with Friends. Some will even sport bots to enhance experience and play. The company states there are currently up to 50 titles on Facebook Messenger, with more coming to the platform weekly.
Another new feature is rich game play, which gives games more appeal. “Rich gameplay features such as turn-based games (our most requested feature) can also weave in leaderboards and tournaments, and offer more visually engaging and customizable game messages during play. Game bots help re-engage players by calling out new game options and encouraging competition with updates on the leaderboards,” Andrea Vaccari, Messenger Product Manager writes.
Facebook states there are more than 1.2 billion monthly active users or MAUs on the Messenger app, which continues to grow in size. The company likewise states new features and options will appear on some of the most popular games.
“People will begin to see new features as game developers start to incorporate the new capabilities with one of Instant Games on Messenger’s biggest hits, Blackstorm’s EverWing, being among the first to use Game bots.”
The social giant recently previewed Facebook Messenger 2.0, which combines work, play, and social all in one place. At the beginning of April, the company announced the Facebook Messenger virtual assistant M will suggest features based on conversations.
