Google Go gets Worldwide Availability

Google Go, previously known as Google Search Lite, recently surpassed 100 million installs on the Play Store and now, it’s available everywhere…

It was only last month that Google Go reached over one-hundred million downloads on the Google Play Store. Just by that number alone, one would likely assume it was available everywhere — but it was actually limited to certain countries. Now, that’s no longer the case as its available worldwide.

Google Expands Google Go to Worldwide Release

The Google Go app, which was previously called Google Search Lite, is a stripped-down path to Google Search. But, it includes Google Lens (which is compatible with more than a dozen languages) and also sports a “read-out-load” option. All of this, stuffed into just 7MB of space.

Google Go is available for download on the Google Play Store and works with any Android device running version 5.0 or higher.
