Google Flights, Hotel Search, Updated with New and Improved Features

Google makes travel planning and savings easier with its latest improvements and new tools on Google Flights and hotel search…

Google announced today, it’s rolling out some new features and improvements to Google Flights and hotel search.

“Everyone loves a good deal—especially when it comes to travel. That’s why last year we added tips on how to save money to Google Flights and hotel search on Google. Being flexible on travel dates and where to stay helps save money when planning a trip—so now we’re adding more ways to explore dates, airports and hotel locations to help you save when you have a bit of wiggle room in your itinerary,” Nabil Naghdy and Ben Austin write on the official Keyword blog.

New and Improved Features Arrive on Google Flights, Hotel Search

The search giant states it’s making it easier to save money on airfare by adding expanded price insights. On Google Flights, users need only to tap on “Dates” to view the cheapest prices available. Users can also select dates to see more pricing options.

These new flight features are currently available on mobile and will soon launch on desktop, Google states. Additionally, hotel search on Google now includes new ways to locate the cheapest accommodations. When users select dates for specific hotels, they’ll see the nightly rate in a calendar view. Users can also opt to view price trends to see rates over time.
