Google Play now shows people app ratings, their size, and their download count, right within its search results, making key facts conspicuous…
Choosing the right app from dozens or even scores of those available takes a lot of sifting and comparison to make the right decision. Up until now, it was necessary to tap on each app listed in order to see key stats, making it all the more unnecessarily difficult. But now, Google has streamlined the process.
Google Play App Ratings, Size, and Download Count are Now Viewable in Search Results
The Google Play Store no shows a lot more pertinent and helpful information, and it’s all viewable right on the SERP or search engine results page. The interface has been updated to include app ratings, along with their size, and number of downloads. (Below is a comparison, published by Android Police that shows what it looked like before — on the left — and what it looks like with the richer results — on the right.)
Prior to the change the Google Play Store only displayed app ratings on the home page and the rating with the download figure on the search results page. Now, the Google Play Store shows the size, as well.
