Google Play Movies Now lets People Search Netflix and Disney Plus Content

The Google Play Movies mobile app now gives people the ability to search for Netflix and Disney Plus content in one place…

With more and more streaming services to choose from, finding the right platform to watch a movie can easily become a painstaking chore. But, Google is offering up a quick solution by allowing people to search through dozens of streaming systems right on its Movies and TV app.

Now, the Google Play Movies and TV mobile app not only lets people search for titles on several streaming platforms, it’s been updated to include Disney+ and Netflix.

So, it’s now possible to search for both Netflix and Disney+ content simply by linking active accounts to the Play Movies app. Just open the mobile application, tap on the three horizontal line menu at the top left, and tap on “Manage services.” Then, select Netflix and Disney+ and the app will do the rest.

Once linked up, the Google Play Movies and TV app will show which titles are available on those platforms. To watch something, it’s necessary to have those apps installed.

The new feature is only available in the US at this time and doesn’t support streaming live television.
