Pandora now offers military and student discounts for its premium music streaming service, giving Apple and Spotify more competition…
Streaming music service Pandora has announced it will now offer discounts for military and student premium subscribers.
Pandora Premium Streaming Service Military and Student Discounts Announced
The new Pandora premium service discounts will put it on par with rivals Spotify and Apple.
Now, the Pandora Student Plan costs $4.99 per month, while the Military Plan will cost $7.99 per month. Both give subscribers access to the same Pandora Premium service as the regular one, which costs $9.99 per month.
The Pandora Student plan is available for up to four years, for eligible students. Meanwhile, the Military Plan gives a discounted rate to active duty, reservists, retirees, veterans, as well as military family members.
Although it’s definitely a way to attract more subscribers, it’s still not as good a deal as Spotify, which includes Hulu and Showtime for $5 per month.
The premium features included ad-free listening, search and play any track, album, or podcast, create and share playlists, playlist personalization, unlimited skips, unlimited offline listening, and higher quality audio.
