Plex Launches its Own Free, Ad-Supported Streaming Service in 200+ Countries

Plex has rolled out its own free, ad-supported shows and movie streaming service, in over two-hundred companies around the world…

The streaming market just got a new player. Plex has introduced its own free, ad-supported streaming service, which includes thousands of TV and movie titles from studios like MGM, Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, Lionsgate, and Legendary.

Plex Introduces a Free, Ad-Supported Streaming Service in more than 200 Countries

Plex has rolled out its new video streaming service to more than two-hundred countries around the world. It doesn’t require any type of subscription or any commitment, so there’s no cost. Although it is add-supported but said adverts are 50 to 60 percent less than broadcast television.

Current titles include Rain Main, The Terminator, Overboard, Frequency, Evil Dead (1 & 2), and Teen Wolf. There’s also a number of concerts and documentaries available.

CEO of Plex, Keith Valory, writes in a statement:
