To Make Up for Recent Outages, YouTube TV Gives its Subscribers a Free Week of Service

Subscribers get a free week of YouTube TV service, due to recent outages, simply by filling out a short form and submitting it before October 23rd…

No one likes service interruptions. It’s always a frustrating experience when something goes out. And, it’s seeming at the worst time. YouTube TV has recently suffered a few outages, with the last occurring just this past week. So, the company is extending an offer to subscribers — a free week of service.

Recent Outage Results in Free Week of YouTube TV Service

Subscribers should receive a message, offering the credit. Here’s the message about how to get a free week of YouTube TV service:

“Hi there,

We’re sorry about the unexpected YouTube TV interruption on Tuesday. We love our TV as much as you do, and our goal is to make sure that you can access your events and shows — whenever and however you want.

To help make this right, we’d like to give you a week of free service. Please contact us via this form before Wednesday, October 23 at 11:59p PT and we’ll credit your account. For any other issues — please get in touch with use by email, phone, live chat, or @TeamYouTube on Twitter.

Thanks for sticking with us.

Sincerely, The YouTube TV Team.”

In early September, YouTube TV rolled out an option to pause memberships for up to 6 months.
