Target Introduces its Own Same-Day Delivery Service

Target same-day delivery expands to nearly every store across 47 states, introducing another bit of competition to its rivals…

Retailer Target has expanded its same-day delivery service to almost every location. Now, shoppers across 47 states can place orders through Target.com and have their good delivered in as little as an hour.

Target Same-Day Delivery Launches

The newly expanded Target same-day delivery service works through Shipt, which the brick-and-mortar retailer acquired in 2017.

Deliveries come to the door for a flat fee of $9.99. Or, shoppers can sign-up for a Shipt membership for $99 per year. With the latter option, shoppers enjoy free shipping on orders of $35 or more.

Target customers can choose from 65,000 items on the retailer’s proprietary website. Anything qualifying for same-day delivery is clearly marked on the site.

Target obviously isn’t the only retailer offering same-day delivery. Rivals Walmart and Amazon both provide a similar service, next-day delivery.
