TikTok Users can Now Directly Post Videos made in Other Apps

TikTok users can now upload videos made in other video editing apps, including Premiere Rush, Plotaverse, Fuse.it, FilMic Pro, and more…

Even though TikTok is now officially under investigation by the United States Committee on Foreign Investment, for its content moderation, it remains a wildly popular app.

TikTok has gained such popularity because of its ease of use, such as sharing and saving content. Now, it’s expanding its capabilities by allowing users to post videos made in third-party apps directly to TikTok.

TikTok Third-Party Video Editing App Upload Support goes Live

The new TikTok third-party video editing upload support integrates with seven other platforms. These currently include Adobe Premiere Rush,  Plotaverse, AI app Fuse.it, along with FilMic Pro, Medal, and Memento’s PicsArt.

TikTok now claims an impressive 800 million users worldwide. (But, approximately 500 million are Chinese users who access the platform under another name, known locally as Douyin.)

TikTok wrote in a statement:

“The new TikTok SDK allows third-party apps an opportunity to extend their reach while giving users a wider selection of creative tools to help their videos match their vision. We’re excited to see how creators use their new features and will continue to expand their access to 3rd party apps.”
