The 2019 Facebook January Moments video is now making its way out to users worldwide via Android, iOS, and desktop…
Facebook is now in releasing its 2019 January Moments video. And, in keeping with the last several releases, it’s not appearing in users’ News Feeds. Instead, it’s available in the Memories section of the site.
2019 Facebook January Moments Video Rolls Out to Android, iOS, Desktop
As with recent previous memories collections, the 2019 Facebook January Moments video comes at a time when the social network is battling against three big negative forces. The company continues to suffer from “context collapse,” or a lack of original content broadcasting. (This means users simply aren’t sharing as much as they did previously.)
Also, North American user growth has seemingly plateaued. In fact, in the last several months, U.S. Instagram usage increased enough to near parity of Facebook on Android, according to recent data from Similar Web.
The last collection to appear was the 2018 Facebook December Moments video, which debuted about a month ago.
How to Get the 2019 Facebook January Moments Video
To get the Facebook January Moments video for 2019, simply open the app on Android or iOS, or visit the desktop site. Then, navigate to the Memories bookmark. If available, it will appear at the very bottom.
If it is not there, simply check back periodically over the next several days. It’s currently rolling out, so not all users will see it immediately. (Please note that Facebook only serves its collections spontaneously.)
