Android Auto is about to get a new feature suite. Inside the latest beta edition, Google’s HTML5 GameSnacks collection appears. Android Auto Beta 6.7 Adds GameSnacks Gaming
Android Auto might be following in the footsteps of Telsa, which offers games in its infotainment system. Of course, the games aren’t playable when driving. So, their value is questionable, to say the least. After all, there’s no reason a driver or passenger couldn’t pick up their phone for gameplay while idling in a driveway or waiting for someone else to get inside the vehicle.
Google already removed Android Auto’s phone interface and make other puzzling moves and this just adds to the confusion. This, as Google continues to move toward replacing Android Auto’s standalone app with Google Assistant Driving Mode.
