Apple News+ is Now Available in the UK and Australia, after Launching in the US and Canada

Apple News Plus is now available in both the United Kingdom and Australia, after debuting in the United States and Canada back in March…

Approximately five months after it went live in the US and Canada, Apple News+ is now available in Australia and the UK.

Apple News Plus goes Live in the United Kingdom and Australia

Apple News+ for the UK and Australia appears to be just like it is in North America. It costs £9.99 a month for UK readers and $14.99 a month for Australian subscribers.

The service mostly curates magazines, which doesn’t exactly line-up with its “News” title. But, that makes sense, given it came out of Texture, which Apple previously acquired.

Apple wrote the following description about its News+ product:

“Apple News+ features richly designed layouts, animated magazine covers, vivid photography and bold typography optimised for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Subscribers can enjoy cover to cover access to their favourite magazines, which are also available for offline reading, and receive notifications when a new issue of a favourite publication is available. Apple News+ also includes collections of articles and featured issues curated by Apple News editors and personalised recommendations.”
