Apple to Reportedly Unveil its Own Streaming Service, Complete with a Big Library of Shows and Films

A soon-to-debut Apple streaming service will include children’s shows, comedy, drama, science fiction, thrillers, action, documentaries, and films…

Disney isn’t the only huge corporation to get into the streaming video business with its soon-to-come Disney+ entertainment product. Apple will also join in, with upward of $1 billion in original programming, according to several news sources.

Apple Streaming Service to Include a Whole Host of Shows and Films

There’s no question streaming is on the rise, while cable and satellite continuing to fall. (YouTube TV just hit 1 million subscribers in the first week of the month, for instance.)

Now, Apple is expected to unveil its own offerings during a March 25th event. Reportedly, the content put out by Apple will have a family-friendly focus. It will not contain nudity or foul language.

The lineup will include a whole host of content offerings. The upcoming Apple streaming service will broadcast children’s shows, comedy, drama, science fiction, action, thrillers, along with documentaries and films, as well.

The strategy seems to hinge on offering content with international appeal. This way, Apple can market its streaming service to the biggest audience possible. After all, it will go up against established incumbents in the space.
