A new Facebook Pages unified inbox will soon be available to all brands, providing a single hub for all Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram messages…
In the coming weeks, a Facebook Pages unified inbox will roll out to all profiles. Currently in testing stages, Facebook is making conversation management less complex across its proprietary platforms, including Messenger, and Instagram. The feature comes in response to overwhelming user demand.
Facebook Pages Unified Inbox Rolling Out
A unified Facebook inbox tool will allow businesses to respond to customer messages through a single interface, rather than jumping from app to app or site to site. Or, even using multiple devices, “There were some people even carrying multiple phones so that they can quickly respond to all the different things coming in,” Benji Shomair, Facebook’s global head of Pages told TechCrunch.
The company reports “nearly 5 billion comments, messages and visitor posts” each month go through Pages. Soon, brands will be able to manage all those conversations using the Facebook Page Manager app.
One unified stream will provide page owners with comprehensive message management of Facebook post comments, Page posts, Instagram messages and comments on posts and videos and more.
Facebook is testing the new unified inbox with select page owners at this time and states the feature will roll out to more users over the next few weeks. This is especially helpful to small businesses who treasure simplification for managing customer interactions. Brands will still be able to access and respond to message through individual apps, so there’s no need to leave Instagram or Facebook when already in those apps.
New Facebook Business Pages features are also on the way. The company is likewise integrating Messenger with PayPal for improved user convenience.
