Google app feed ads

Google Mobile App Feed Now includes Ads

Google app feed ads appear to now be a reality for several users, who report seeing the digital advertisements peppered throughout…

The Google app, formerly known as Google Now, is surfacing ad content in users’ feed, Android Police reports. At this time, it appears like it’s just a limited test, only with select users seeing ads. Those users have taken to Twitter and Google+ to voice their opinions. Of course, most are negative responses.

Google App Feed Ads Now Showing Up

Since Google is big into the advertisement business, this isn’t a huge surprise. The search giant obviously will insert ads into any place it can. (For those unfamiliar, ads also run in the Google Assistant. Just say, “What’s my day look like?” And a news brief will play, complete with at least one advertisement.)

Google has made a number of changes to its app. For instance, it’s tweaked the interface more than once. One such change sported rounded cards and more buttons. The company likewise introduced Trending News cards last year.

It’s important to note, Google routinely makes changes to its products and not all stick for good. However, this isn’t to say it won’t become permanent and therefore, widespread.
