Google no longer manufactures its Pixel 3A and has listed it as “Out of Stock” on its store site but there are some still available elsewhere…
Surprisingly, Google abruptly discontinued its most excellent mid-range Pixel 3A and Pixel 3A XL smartphones. Surprising, because its successor, the Pixel 4A, won’t be available anytime soon. (It’s slated to go on sale — perhaps — sometime in mid to late October.) In fact, the two A models are no longer for sale on Google’s official store site. But, there are still a few retailers who have them in stock.
Google Discontinues the Pixel 3A but Some Retailers Still have the Devices in Stock
The Google Pixel 3A phones sold quite well when introduced. The relatively low price point with the guarantee of getting the latest Android updates for a number of years proved a winning scenario for both Google and consumers alike. Google even discounted the devices, bringing them down to $299 for the 3A and $319 for the 3A XL.
By making this move, Google won’t have to further lower the price points ahead of the 4A release. And, since the company isn’t manufacturing an XL version the fourth time around, it makes the lone 4A model all the more enticing.
