The new Google local search Highlights include information about the searched destination. As pictured in the screenshots below taken by Servey Alakov, the Highlights include “Quiet,” “Good for Kids,” and “Casual,” for a “Pizza Hut” search listing. For the query “Madison Avenue Pub,” the Highlights include “Bar games,” “Casual,” and “Good for groups.”

Currently, there is no official confirmation about the local search Highlights in the knowledge panels. And, it is unknown how many markets it’s appearing in at this time. (The query results above are in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.)

Recently, new Google mobile image search filters appeared, which include results sorting for latest images, GIFs, clip art, and more. In April, Google disclosed that 15 percent of all searches are first-time queries.
