Google Pay Expands Support to include 27 New Banks in the United States

Contactless payments are slowly but surely becoming more and more popular. And, even though Google Pay has been on the scene for nearly five years, it does not yet support every bank in America. However, support is quickly expanding, with Google adding 27 new financial institutions in the US.

Google Pay Adds 27 New US Banks

Google Pay is steadily adding new firms to its system. What makes it a slow process is the fact the banks must enter formal agreements with Google. Of course, this takes a lot of time. Hence, the slow pace of adding new banks and credit unions. 

Although, Google adds support for several new firms at once. Here’s a list of the 27 new banks in the US which offer Google Pay:
