Google has landed new deals with a number of new US banking institutions that now work with Google Pay, bringing it closer to 3,000 total…
With the ongoing safety precautions amidst the pandemic lock downs, contactless payments are definitely a preferred way of making in-person purchases. Google Pay is one of the most supported by banking institutions and parent company Google keeps adding more. Recently, it expanded its support to include nearly twenty more.
Google Pay Now Supports 18 More US Banks
Google Pay is making its way to three-thousand banking partners, after hitting two-grand back in September of 2018. (It really makes one wonder just how many banks and credit unions are actually out there.) Just in June, Google Pay expanded its support to another forty financial institutions, and July saw a relatively similar number.
Interestingly, there are many which still aren’t part of the supported list. Of course, Google Pay isn’t limited to the United States. It’s available in Australia, Canada, India, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
