Fresh off the introduction of the Google Play Store Free App of the Week, a new My Apps and Games section updated appears to become available in a server-side switch. Spotted by users running Android Nougat, this changes search and sorting options.
Google Play My Apps & Games Section Update Possibly Rolling Out
Previously, the My Apps and Games section contained just two sorting options: Installed and All:
But now, there are more organizing options available with this latest update:
The new tabs include: Updates, Installed, Library, and Beta. Sorting options now include: Alphabetical, Last Updated, Last Used, and Size.
Prior to the switch, the All tab contained existing app installs, previously installed apps, and apps installed on other devices under the same Google account. Now, renamed Library, according to 9to5 Google.
Some users have reported seeing the update for weeks but it yet is not widely available to all devices in all regions. If Google adopts this change globally, it should arrive within the next few weeks.
Just last week, a new Google App shortcut carousel appeared, complete with a quick select alternative to searching for specific topics.
