Instagrammers can now opt to post their live stories videos, which typically disappear in 24 hours, to IGTV, saving them indefinitely…
There’s an ever-growing popularity occurring on Instagram Live. It’s becoming one of the most preferred and popular ways creators connect with their audiences. However, the biggest downside is the fact that content is uploaded in Instagram Stories. That means those videos automatically disappear in 24 hours. But, a new option is live and helps creators avoid that pitfall.
Instagram Live Videos Now Save to IGTV
It’s now possible to save live videos that first appear in Stories over to IGTV. The change gives creatives — musicians and others alike — the ability to properly archive their broadcasts. So, audience members who miss the initial stream can be viewed more than a day later.
What’s more, this gives people the option to download videos of the streams and post the content elsewhere — like YouTube. Now, those videos won’t be forever lost, as they were previously, due to the ephemeral nature of Instagram Stories.
