Instagram now lets its users pin as many as three posts or Reels to the top of their profiles, mimicking the TikTok and Twitter options…
Instagram has made it possible for users to select and stick up to three posts or reels to the top of their profiles. If this sounds familiar, that’s because rivals TikTok and Twitter already sport the functionality. Once pinned, the content will stay at the forefront of the user profile as if recently posted. The feature is currently making its way out and should be available to use.
Instagram Now Allows Users to Pin Three Posts or Reels to their Profiles
Instagram began building out the option at the beginning of the year and it was first spotted by reverse-engineer Alessandro Paluzzi in January. Then, about four months later, in April, the Meta subsidiary announced it was testing the feature. Now, anyone can choose three posts or Reels to tack onto their profiles to highlight as long as desired.
The new Instagram profile post or Reel pin works simply by tapping on the three dots at the top right corner. Then, select Pin to your profile. That should do it. If another post or Reel is pinned the former will push off to the right.
