Facebook continues its quest to swallow the internet. The news comes courtesy of Twitter-based leaker Alessandro Paluzzi. Paluzzi has already made a number of recent discoveries in the Instagram app. He highlighted these in a series of tweets, including the one shown below. As pictured, there’s an option to open the Facebook app directly from within Instagram. Of course, this being hid from the public means its under testing and therefore, might not ever make it to wide, stable release.

If it does happen, it would complete the circle, because four years ago, Facebook created an option to open Instagram directly from inside the FB app. At that time, it was widely expected the reverse would also be available not long after. Now, it might come to fruition.
