The new Microsoft To-Do Mac desktop app goes live after acquiring and committing to shut down Wunderlist two years ago…
About four years ago, in June of 2015, Microsoft bought Wunderlist, a cloud-based task management application. Nearly two years later, the software giant announced in April of 2017, it would eventually discontinue the app in favor of its own proprietary application, To-Do. Now, that time has come and Microsoft is bringing it to Mac.

Many of the app’s core features are available right away. These include creating and managing tasks, offline functionality, list sharing, tagging, and others. It also integrates with Microsoft Outlook and will soon work with Planner.
Previously, the To-Do app by Microsoft was available on Windows, iOS, and Android. Here’s what the company says out it, quoted directly:
“Got something on your mind? Get Microsoft To-Do. Whether you want to increase your productivity, decrease your stress levels or just clear up some mental space, Microsoft To-Do makes it easy to plan your day and manage your life.”
