Netflix Android app Samsung Bixby Voice support

Netflix has Added Support for Bixby Voice on its Android App, as Promised

Streaming service Netflix now works with Samsung’s digital assistant, Bixby Voice, fulfilling a promise made back in February…

During the almost global lock down due to the coronavirus pandemic or COVID-19 outbreak, entertainment is key to help in passing the time. Streaming services are often the go-to distraction and Netflix is one of the most popular. To make the experience even better, it’s possible to use voice commands, rather than having to fumble through tiny keyboards. Now, that tech has expanded to Bixby Voice, which was just added to Netflix’s compatibility.

Netflix Android App Samsung Bixby Voice Support Debuts

The new Netflix Android app–Samsung Bixby Voice support comes just about a month after the announcement was made back at the Unpacked event for the Galaxy S20, held in February. (The update arrives with the newly revised changelog on the Google Play Store.)

What this means is that it’s now possible to use Samsung’s Bixby Voice to do what Google Assistant has long been doing already. Simply install both apps from the Google Play Store and then fire up Netflix to start watching Season 3 of Ozark or the Tiger King, just by speaking simple commands.
