Netflix Offers Some of its Biggest Original Movies and Shows for Free, but There’s a Catch, Of Course

Netflix is giving some of its most popular movies and series episodes away at no cost, but viewers won’t be able to watch it all…

Streaming king Netflix is allowing anyone without a subscription to watch ten of its biggest original hits, free of charge. That’s right. It’s not necessary to subscribe to the on-demand entertainment service to watch interesting titles like Bird Box, Stranger Things, and Our Planet, only a mobile device or desktop. Of course, there is a caveat, as one would immediately conclude.

Netflix Offers Some of its Original Movies and Shows for Free

The new promotion, running over at Netflix.com/watch-free, currently offers a combination of movies and shows, which the company says will change from time to time. Right now, movies include Murder Mystery, Bird Box, and The Two Popes. Plus, series include Stranger Things, Our Planet, When They See Us, Elite, Boss Baby: Back in Business, Love is Blind, and Grace and Frankie.

Now, here’s the catch. While the movies run from beginning to end, with no interruption, the series cut off after the first episode. Meaning, viewers watching for free will need to sign up for a subscription in order to watch the remaining episodes.
