Amazon Prime members now have the option to send a gift without needing the recipient’s address and they can also choose exchange it…
Amazon Prime is a very convenient subscription service that now only gives members free shipping, faster shipping options, access to Prime Video and music, plus other perks. However, for all its conveniences, it’s still not that easy to pick out the right gift. What’s more, it becomes all the more difficult when the giver doesn’t have the recepient’s address. Now, there’s a new gift-giving feature for Amazon Prime members.
New Amazon Prime Member Feature Lets Gift Recipients Provide their Own Address or Opt for an Exchange
Amazon Prime members are now able to select a gift and during the checkout process, can opt to let the recipient enter their own address. Or, if he or she doesn’t particularly like said gift, he or she can simply politely decline it and exchange it for an Amazon gift card, instead. Of course, Amazon doesn’t tell the sender and since the purchase is made with a Prime membership, the recipient enjoys Prime delivery, too.
The process is streamlined so it’s simplified for both the gift-giver and the recipient. During checkout, the Prime member can just select “Let the recipient provide their address,” and he or she will receive an email or text message to enter their preferred delivery address.
