Facebook Page post prompts now greet owners and managers alike when logging onto the social media network. Situated at the very top of the Page feed, just below the header are seven prompts. Although the tools aren’t new, the cues put several suggestions front-and-center.

These Facebook Page post prompts include options to share a photo or video, get sign ups, advertise your business, get messages, create an event, create an offer, and write a note. Clicking on the “see all” link expands the Page view, revealing a suggestion to get people to view a product.
While none of these are new Page functions, it’s clear Facebook is pushing owners and managers to engage more. All of these features are still available in the left column, appearing when hovering over the blue and white “Promote” button.
Additionally, clicking on “Insights” and “Publishing Tools” provides Page owners and managers with more options. With these new prompts, the social network makes owners and manager more aware of what the platform offers their businesses.
In related news, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat measurements are producing mixed results, with each network attempting to provide improved accuracy for advertisers. Interestingly, no announcement appeared on the company’s official Newsroom channel. Currently, it’s not clear which regions have the new Facebook Page post prompts, but once enabled, a notification appears, stating, “Introducing new post options to help you connect with your customers and get the results you want.”
