Google is currently testing a new Calendar design with a limited number of users seeing it firsthand. In the facelift version, Google Calendar features the company’s now familiar Material Design, one that’s already present on YouTube, Chrome, Gmail, and more properties.
New Google Calendar User Interface Test Spotted
One of the first people to see the new Google Calendar user interface and post screenshots is Redditor xDawnut. The screenshots reveal less-cluttered look, with the current functionalities, such as birthdays and reminders in the same left column blocks.
There’s no official word about the test but some users definitely see it in action. For comparison, here’s a screenshot of how Google Calendar looks now:
