New Google Tangi Tutorial App Teaches Users New Skills
A new tutorial mobile app from Area 120 in Google seeks to become the go-to resource for people to learn new skills.
Simply known as “Tangi,” it’s available on iOS at the time, but Android users will have to access it on desktop. Tangi’s name comes from “the words TeAch aNd GIve and ‘tangible’ — things you can make.”
The app has its pros and cons. Most notably, is the fact its tutorials are short-form videos, so they’re right to the point. But, given the brevity, little details and/or nuances might be missed.
Coco Mao, Team Lead of Tangi, explains:
“Whether you love crafting, cooking, cosmetics or clothing, Tangi has 60 second videos to help you try something new—and a place to share it back too. You can also share a re-creation of things you tried out with Tangi’s ‘Try It’ feature, which helps build a community between creators and their fans.”
