New LinkedIn messaging app smart replies help make responding easier, sporting more AI power than before for improved UX or user experience…
The LinkedIn messaging app now boasts some nifty improvements. Smart replies come to the mobile experience as the company continues its long-term overhaul. Inbox by Gmail users and others will immediately recognize the new feature. It’s convenient and uses machine learning to understand context and relevance.
New LinkedIn Messaging App Smart Replies, AI Interactions Debut
The new LinkedIn messaging app smart replies are rolling out in English. But, the company states the feature will become available to other languages. Because LinkedIn understands not all of its members are fans of this technology, users can opt-out. Just go into the settings panel to turn it off.
LinkedIn says the tool is currently limited to three pre-written responses. And, it will soon add more personalization. “For example, you may soon see a response like ‘Thanks, Joe!’ versus the more simplified ‘Thanks.'”
LinkedIn first rolled out suggested replies in January. However, this new feature includes more AI tools. So, it’s more sophisticated and produces better natural language.
The reason behind the move is to increase user engagement. Therefore, the more time people spend in the app, the better the metrics. Also, more use means more input analyzation. That gives machine learning a lot of data.
