Microsoft Introduces an Android App called SMS Organizer which Filters Out Spam

Microsoft built a new mobile application for Android called SMS Organizer, which has the neat advantage of filtering out spam messages…

Software giant Microsoft has developed an Android app, SMS Organizer, which automatically sorts messages. The company released the app last year in India but now, it’s reportedly making its way over to the US, UK, and Australia.

New Microsoft SMS Organizer Android App Filters Spam

The Microsoft SMS Organizer app for Android does precisely what the name states — it sorts messages into separate folders.

This means promotional messages go into a “promotions” folder, while actual messages go to the main inbox.

Additionally, the application brings up contextual reminders for things such as flights, hotel reservations, restaurant reservations, movie tickets, and more.

Also, users can block senders, star messages, as well as archiving old messages. Plus, it works offline because most of the activity is done right on the device.

People can likewise opt to back up their messages to Google Drive. However, it only supports SMS but not MMS.
