Social pinboard Pinterest is now giving its users more say over what shows up in their home feeds, with new content controls…
Pinterest just made it easier to control what appears on users’ home feeds. The digital pinboard is doing so with new settings.
New Pinterest Home Feed Granular Controls go Live
The new Pinterest content controls also include being able to manage boards, topics, followed accounts, and recent history.
The new controls come as a result of how people use the platform. For example, someone might search for a particular item in a specific moment. But, don’t want to see related stuff in recommendations every time they’re on the site.
Among the new tools is a Home Feed Tuner and Pin-level controls. To access the options, simply go over to Pinterest.com/edit on desktop.
Pinterest writes on its news site:
“…we’re making it easier than ever to control the recommendations you see in your home feed with a new home feed tuner and Pin-level controls. Now you can easily see the boards, topics, followed accounts and recent history that contribute to your recommendations and make tweaks so your feed stays relevant and inspiring.”
