Pinterest, the popular digital pinboard, has released a refreshed look for its mobile experience, on both Android and iOS devices…
Digital pinboard Pinterest has launched an update for its iOS and Android mobile apps. It features a renewed focus on personalization and it more efficiently uses space.
Pinterest Mobile App Redesign Rolls Out to Android, iOS
The Pinterest mobile app redesign comes with tighter spaces between pins — packing the feed with as much content as possible. But, it still remains nicely arranged, without overcrowding.
It likewise features more personal recommendations, located right at the top of the home feed. Pinterest surfaces recommendations based on individual user’s activity, making it easier to discover new content.
Pinterest also relocated the search function, which now resides in the main navigation bar. Additionally, the “following” tab is now easily accessible at the top of the home feed.
With the makeover comes a change in the profile design. Now, the user’s latest pins appear from all their boards.
Pinterest’s mobile refresh or Android and iOS is already going live globally.
