Google is now automatically adding a conspicuous “Request a Quote” button on its SERP or search engine results page.
‘Request a Quote’ Button Starts Appearing in Google Search Results
Joy Hawkins stumbled upon the new button and shared it via Twitter. The results are able to be duplicated. And, it’s showing up on the web on desktop, as well as on mobile, when a business name is searched.
However, it doesn’t magically work for every business name query. It seems companies which have opted into the Google My Business messaging feature.
Here’s how to take advantage of the feature:
- Go to the Google My Business page (or open the mobile app)
- Open the appropriate location
- Select Customers
- Tap or click on Messages
- Toggle on the button
