Reserve with Google, a new appointment setting feature on Google Maps and website page, is now live, for users to book many types of services…

Search giant Google wants to help its millions of users in the United States book spa, salon, or other appointments. Today, Reserve with Google goes live, giving users the ability to search and find local service providers, then book a day and time.

Google touts the tool works with spas and salons across the U.S. through partnerships with Genbook, SalonRunner, Rosy, Yocale, and WellnessLiving.

“To get started, find your favorite salon or spa on Google Maps or Search and look for the “book” button on the business listing. You can also visit the Reserve with Google site to browse recommendations for businesses you never knew were just around the corner,” Alex Russell, Google Maps Product Manager, explains.

Google just updated its local knowledge panels for restaurants to include a new menu tab in search results. The search engine also placed an AI powered jobs search feature right on its SERP.
