Spotify Snapchat sharing

Spotify Listeners will Soon be able to Share Directly to Snapchat on Android and iOS

Spotify users will soon have the power to share music and more audio streams directly to Snapchat on both Android and iOS…

Sharing content between apps is commonplace among platforms these days. But, there are still disconnects here and there. That includes being able to share from music streaming service Spotify to popular social media site Snapchat. This is about to come to an end with the option coming to both iOS and Android.

Spotify to Snapchat Sharing Option coming to iOS and Android

Soon, Spotify listeners can use the share menu for songs, albums, playlists, artist profiles, and podcasts. What’s more, it works with Snapchat, as well as Snapchat Stories (provide users have the latter app installed).

People who see the shares in their Snapchat feed can swipe up from the bottom, then tap to listen.

Here’s part of the official Spotify announcement:

“With Spotify, you can listen to your favorite music and podcasts anytime, anywhere. With Snapchat, you can share what you’re up to instantaneously. Soon you’ll be able to combine the two seamlessly and share what you’re listening to in a Snap [story].

As part of a new integration, all Spotify users who have the Snapchat app installed will be able to share your favorite tracks, playlists, albums, and podcasts right to Snapchat for sharing with friends directly or posting to your Story.”
