Over the next few weeks, Twitter will add context to missing tweets, including those deleted and protected. The social microblog is introducing an explanation as to why a post isn’t available.
Twitter Reveals Plans to Explain Missing Tweets
Although Twitter says that it will offer more context, the company hasn’t provided specifics about the notices. But the site did say missing tweets are generally the result of deleted posts, protected tweets, or content linked to keywords the author mutes.
Twitter’s new explanations for missing tweets will debut in the coming weeks.
We’re fixing the issue where you see so many “This Tweet is unavailable” notices in conversations. This is usually due to deleted or protected Tweets, or muted keywords.
