Recently updated LinkedIn reactions take-on a Facebook-like look, offering users more creative ways to express themselves…
Sure, Facebook might be mired in scandal after scandal. But, that doesn’t mean it’s not valuable. After all, it is the world’s largest social network. So, it’s understandable competitors will copy what works.
Updated LinkedIn Reactions Feature Facebook-Style Icons
New LinkedIn reactions are now available, the company has announced:
“One of the things we regularly hear from all of you is that you want more expressive ways than a ‘Like’ to respond to the variety posts you see in your feed. At the same time, you’ve also told us that when you post on LinkedIn, you want more ways to feel heard and understand why someone liked what you said. That’s why today we’re starting to roll out a set of Reactions on LinkedIn, giving you more ways to quickly and constructively communicate with one another.”
The new LinkedIn reactions include “Like,” “Celebrate,” “Love,” “Insightful,” and “Curious.”
Of course, just like its social peers, users won’t find negative reactions. Meaning, there’s no thumbs-down or dislike button.
LinkedIn says its new set of reactions is beginning to roll out but won’t be fully available until sometime in the “coming months.”
