Verizon Launches Stream TV an Android TV Set-Top Box

The new Verizon Stream TV set-top box runs an unspecified version of Android TV. It contains a single 4k HDMI port and one ethernet port on the back.

It comes equipped with Google Assistant functionality, with a dedicated button on the remote. The system is ostensibly free, with the purchase of Verizon’s 5G home internet. It also includes a complimentary month of YouTube TV.

The new Verizon Stream TV set-top box is available to buy on the company’s website for a price of $70.
