Rakuten, the Japanese-based company behind mobile messaging app Viber, has integrated a new note-taking option and to-do lists…
Viber has announced it added a note-taking tool, called “My Notes” to its mobile communications app. This is especially helpful when there’s a need to mark something down and not having to leave the app to capture the thought is a big plus.
Viber Messaging App Adds Note-Taking Feature and To-Do Lists
Viber, the cross-platform voice over IP (VoIP) and instant messaging (IM) software application operated by Japanese multinational company Rakuten, now includes a new note-taking option, along with to-dos.
The new feature is located in the Chats list. Adding a new note is the same exact experience as composing and sending a message, but it’s a bit more organized.
Viber also lets users check-off completed items, making it even easier to see what’s already done and what’s left to do. My Notes syncs between devices, so they’re available anywhere users sign into the service.
Viber states it’s also adding a reminder option so user can set specific times, with the feature coming in the not-too-distant future.
The new My Notes by Viber is currently rolling out globally.
