WhatsApp now sports two more utilitarian features — reminders and tasks — courtesy of its recent integration with Any.do…
There are several reasons WhatsApp is so very popular. It does boast a number of features but definitely falls short in some respects, unlike rival WeChat. Fortunately, the Facebook subsidiary has just merged the Any.do task manager into its platform. Now, it lets users create reminders and tasks.
WhatsApp Now Supports Reminders and Tasks, with Anydo Integration
The new WhatsApp-Any.do integration is certainly helpful to users with its ability to now set reminders and create tasks. But, as one might guess, it does come with a very important caveat.
In order to set reminders and create tasks in WhatsApp through Any.do, users must have an active subscription to the latter service (which costs $2.99 per month).
The good news is, said subscription isn’t necessary just to give the new features a try. Simply click over to the whatsapp.any.do website. Or, open the Any.do mobile app and go to Settings > Integrations > WhatsApp to try it out.
