Facebook iOS App SDK Triggering Spotify, Pinterest, TikTok, Tinder, and Other App Outages

Facebook iOS App Causing Spotify, Pinterest, TikTok, Tinder, and Other Apps to Crash

An apparent issue with the Facebook iOS mobile app SDK is resulting in crashing other popular apps, including Spotify, Pinterest, TikTok, and others…

For those who like to listen to their favorite Spotify playlist in the morning, there might be a little trouble. The same holds true for anyone looking for inspiration from Pinterest, or anyone wanting to browse through TikTok or Tinder. That’s because the Facebook app for iOS is seemingly responsible for the problems.

The issues at hand all have one thing in common. And, Facebook is apparently the culprit behind it. The Facebook SDK, or software development kit, is most likely the reason these interruptions are occurring.  This is true, even if people aren’t using their Facebook credentials to login to any one of the affected apps.

Whatever the problem is, there are a number of technicians from different companies digging down to try and resolve the issue. Such a cooperation ought to mean all of these apps will be up and running problem-free in no time at all.
